Serving Our Communities
At TD Fischer Group we believe in serving not just one, but three communities. We consider our associates, our customers, and our hometown each the communities we support, nurture and value. It is in part because of this philosophy that we were recognized by the Wausau Regional Chamber of Commerce with the 2006 Small Business of the Year Award.
Our associates - When Bob Fischer opened the doors of TD Fischer Group the mandate was that "employees come first; customers come in a close second." Although admitting this philosophy appeared to stray from the norms in business practices, he credits his talented associates with helping the company grow ten-fold since opening. Those satisfied and happy associates are excelling at meeting customers' needs every day and having fun doing it because we treat each other with respect and care, just like we do our customers.
Our customers - Our community of more than 120 customers is vast and valued. We have formed meaningful and lasting relationships with our customers from coast to coast. It is a delight to serve them and to create for them new solutions that get results. Through TD Fischer Group, our community of customers network with one another sharing challenges, ideas, and solutions and learning from each other.
Our hometown - Being honored by the Chamber of Commerce with the Small Business of the Year Award is the greatest compliment a business can receive from their hometown. Our valued associates live and work here, raising families in our great community. Our customers, big and small, appreciate the hometown values we live by and we appreciate the hometown that allows us to do what we do best. Through various volunteer activities, charitable giving, and philanthropic efforts, we enjoy giving back to the community that has supported us since 1997.
